As a classically trained musician I spend a lot of my teaching energy translating what I've learned technically and musically into plain language and practical suggestions for guitar students of all levels and all stripes.

I focus lessons on learning the songs and music you most want to play, and supplement that with applied music theory, progressive technical improvement, and practice suggestions that work.

Fees (negotiable to a degree)
1 hr at my studio = $60
1 hr at your place = $75 (I teach on the upper West Side and Upper East Side only.)
1/2 hr at your place = 50 (shorter lessons are mainly for young children)
